Expressing Gratitude: We, the students and staff of ETI, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Galle community, especially to Fr. Bernard, Fr. Rajitha Vass, and Fr. Provincial for their invaluable support. Their profound understanding of the importance of ETI’s growth and their steadfast commitment to our mission has resulted in their generous contributions. Their financial support serves as both an inspiration and a lifeline, enabling us to continue our vital work with marginalized youth.

We also warmly welcome all companions within the province who share an interest in serving and supporting ETI. Your involvement is crucial as we expand our reach and impact in the community.

Renovation and Professional Development: Aligned with our dedication to excellence, we have initiated a project to renovate our training section. This endeavor aims to cultivate an environment conducive to learning and growth, equipping our students with the resources they need to excel. Additionally, we are proud to announce the recruitment of professional staff members for our training section. Their expertise and commitment will undoubtedly elevate the quality of education we provide, ensuring our students receive the best possible support on their educational journey.

Success and Commitment to Learning: We are delighted to report the thriving progress of our students. Their enthusiasm for learning is palpable, and their dedication to their studies is commendable. Each day, they demonstrate a remarkable eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills, embodying the spirit of lifelong learning.

Community Engagement: In our ongoing efforts to engage with the community, we recently organized a successful car wash event. This initiative not only provided us with an opportunity to interact with community members but also served as a fundraiser to support our mission.

We have also initiated discussions with ETI alumni working abroad. Despite a prior misunderstanding that led to a halt in equipment donations, they have pledged to visit ETI soon and provide their support. Additionally, we have had numerous meetings with our collaborators, the Methodist brothers, who have promised their moral support to ETI.

In a significant development, we received positive news from TVEC (Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission) that we are eligible to conduct NVQ level 3 exams for the AC and Refrigeration section until 2026. Consequently, students in the AC and Refrigeration section completed their final exams on 28.03.2024. Once again, we express our gratitude for your moral and financial support. We humbly request each province member to consider visiting ETI and extending a helping hand. May the spirit of Easter renew all things.
