What we do?
The Development Office serves as a support structure responsible for resource mobilization and fundraising efforts for the province. Its scope includes supporting province operations, formation, new apostolic initiatives, and the care of health and elderly members within the community. Additionally, it coordinates fundraising and friend-raising activities and addresses unforeseen crises affecting the community. A primary goal of the Development Office is to achieve self-sustenance through local support. The office organizes and coordinates ways for local partners, collaborators, the laity, and friends to engage and share responsibility in the mission of the Sri Lanka Jesuit Province.
For any partner wishing to participate in the mission of the SRI Province in any capacity:

Janina Emmernegger Visits Sri Lanka
Janina Emmernegger, the Project Coordinator of Swiss Jesuit Mission visited Sri Lanka from 24th of September till 29th of September. This was her maiden visit to our Projects funded by Swiss Jesuit Mission; CSC Hatton and Rainbow Kids Kalkudah.
Janina had a wonderful time with all those whom we accompany in these projects, especially the students, teachers, members from the women empowering groups, the coordinators and Prem Kumar and Sahayanathan, two directors of works.
The exposure programs of CSC Hatton and Rainbow Kids, were well organized with meticulous planning.
Janina had time to see the operations in St. Claver Institute, Chilaw, ETI Batticaloa and Arrupe Primary School, Batticaloa.
Her comments just before her departure, “Thanks a lot for your time to show me some parts of Sri Lanka as we were visiting the two projects. I appreciate all the good planning and meeting the people and beneficiaries involved. I will remember my visit fondly and look forward to a continuous collaboration”

Blessing of the Province Development Office
On the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, our Province Development Office was blessed by His Excellency Brian Udaigwe, Apostolic Nuncio to Sri Lanka.
